Go into yourself and see how deep the place is from which your life flows.
— Rainer Maria Rilke

My name is Lyndsey Ryan. I am passionate about what I do!  I believe that there is no greater gift than connecting deeply both within ourselves, and with another person, and am privileged to support people in doing this work every day. I am dedicated to helping people move through challenges, and into a life with greater freedom, vitality and meaning.

I began this work with the deepest desire to help adults move through developmental trauma and adult onset PTSD as gently and effectively as possible. I have spent my 24 year career research, training, and developing hybrid modality support so that I may best support you in finding a safe refuge in your own mind and body.

I have trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, IFS, somatic psychotherapies including Somatic Experiencing, attachment work, art therapy and advanced EMDR techniques to support people struggling with early childhood neglect and abuse, addictions, combat trauma, and self-harming/self-defeating behaviors and thoughts.

My work is also strongly influenced by the research and instruction of Dr. Dan Seigel at the Mindsight Institute, alongside the somatic experiencing work of Dr. Peter Levine and via Dr. Frank Anderson and Dr. Richard Schwartz in Internal Family Systems. Functional applications of mindfulness practices, genetics, nutrition, and “epinutrition” also inform my practice. I have studied in Seminar with the Boulder Association of Jungian Analysts to deepen my understanding of the unconscious, myth, and spirit.

I graduated Naropa University with my Master of Arts in Contemplative Psychotherapy, and utilize a broader contemplative lens as well as a Tibetan Buddhism lens in my work.

In bringing these ideologies and skillsets together within the psychedelic experience, we can gently walk through the challenges that have created so much pain. We can utilize your own unique expression of symbols and experiences to learn what beliefs and fears are blocking you from living your most free and embodied self. Together we can support your journey to the experience of safety and freedom in your own mind and body.

I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in Colorado. I have completed training and earned my ACS - Advanced Clinical Supervisor certification.
